How do you fix scratched disks?

    You can just clean them from the centre out with Isopropyl Alcohol and try and copy them onto another disk.

    If u have a MR.movies near u they might fix for free or any gamestop they refurbish there games before put on shelfes or u can take tooth paste rub that over the shiny side and make sure it completely covers it and wait 5 minutes then wash it off(u can rub with fingers) then spray or pour isopropyl alchohol on it then with a very soft towel or and spft cloth dry it...(do not rub in cucular motin or it will scratch more....also this wont last forever it will last for bout 1-2 weeks and then u have to do it again

    i will think u use a soft cotton cloth to clean it from the inner circle upwards.u can also use a very powerfull laptop with a dvd burner to burn a new copy of ur disk.

  • the best way is to take it to a game store or a rental store. where they have a disc buffed. it takes all the scratches out of the disc. and restore it to almost new condition.

    disc doctor. what it does it fill in the gaps so it is smooth for the laser to read it does not really repair the scratch.

    This may sound stupid but im serious put peanut butter on the scratched side than flush it in the toilet

    can't really repair them...only buff them up a little. use the disc doctor.
