Most underrated defensive players in NFL 2007-2008 season?

Here are my top 3 underrated defensive players of the 2007-2008 season?

1. Charles Woodson - This guy is one of the best corners in the league and no one gives him the respect he deserves (look at the stats and you will see why I have him as #1)

2. Ike Taylor - Ok I know a bit of a shock here huh well hear me out a min remember Braylon Edwards in 2 games with Taylor on him he caught 4 passes for 55 yards and 1TD. HE is also Chad Johnson kryptonite.

3. Kyle Vanden Bosch - This guy is a monster. I was sick and tired of these analyst saying that in order for the Titans to beat the Chargers in the Wild Card game they need Haynesworth. Haynesworth this Haynesworth that I didnt hear Kyle's name in that 1hr segment sad.

I'm going to have to go with the entire Giants Defensive front...they have only 1 pro bowler even though they led the league in sacks and destroyed the Patriots Probowl heavy O-line in the superbowl after running throught the NFC divions winners 3 straight weeks. Umenyiora, Strahan, Tuck and Robbins are beasts!

I'd have to agree with Charles Woodson, but there's another packer that's very underated. Atari Bigby an undrafted rookie came from nowhere and earned a starting spot on the roster part way through the season. He tied Charles Woodson with 5 picks, and has crazy tackles. He's a huge threat on the packer D. If you saw him in the playoffs you'd know how phenomenal he really is.

Have to agree with you on Charles Woodson. He's not even considered the best on his team. As great as Al Harris is, he is no Charles Woodson. Woodson only allows about one completion a game. Thats stagering! Harris allows about three, which is still Phenominal, but he's just not as good as woddson. and woodson didnt even make the pro-bowl, How does that happen??

Man, if Ike Taylor could catch, he'd probably lead the league in INTs almost every year. You're spot on about him against Chad Johnson.

    Cheers!

  • 1.Roy Williams-Lions(HE had 2 INTS, and 10 yds. He is my most underated player.

2.Ike Taylor- HE is a Monster. A sick, sick, monster. HE rocks!

    3. Champ Bailey- JUst because the broncos are a bad team this year, don't mean he is bad. He is a beast too!

Are you kiddin me?? It has to be Giants DE Justin Tuck. He wasn't even stating and he still got 60 tackles and 10 sacks.

And did you see what he did in the SuperBowl. Force Fumble, Sack..
