I think it's a horribly unattractive choice for a girl. I cringe every time I hear/see it.

Kennedy is very unique for a girl name.
Kennedy Lauren sounds nice together.
If your not sure what about Kendra?

Kennedy is a surname, which automaticlly makes it a boys name. However, everyone is using boys names on girls a lot lately, so it definitely wouldn't be a big deal.
I personally LOVE the name Kennedy, but would never use it because it means "ugly mishapen head" :(

Kennedy comes from a Celtic surname stemming from a nickname meaning "armoured, misshapen or ugly head" (thought to refer to the helmets worn by the Kennedy clan).

So not the greatest, most feminine meaning, but as a nickname, surname and VERY popular name in the US (nearly top 100 on the girls' side for years now LOL), certainly ripe for feminine usage.

And while I wouldn't call it a "girl's name," exactly, certainly not unusual or unexpected in the least. ;)

No not really but its your baby. name your baby wat you want. I like Lauren a lil but overused. How about Kenna means Beautiful. Or Kendra means magical. Or Kiana means Living With Grace. Or Lena. Or Lesley means Joy. Or Linda means pretty one.
