It would not be you cheating, it would be him. But why would you want to hurt someone else? If this guy is someone you just mess around with once in a while, hes not someone you want for a b/f. So why would you want to tempt someone to do the wrong thing? If you know you could get him if you wanted to, Then you can get someone else that is just as much fun, (or more) and single. I'm kinda old, but back in the day when I was young, that would not be "cheating". It was dating and we were free to date more than one person at a time. It became "cheating" when you had an engagement ring and a marriage date set. Now if I understand today's youth it's cheating to notice that people of the opposite sex exist on the same planet as us. I'm not judging anyone here, just telling you how things used to be.

hes the one who's cheating...you don't have to chose to leave him alone or not its him who has to make the decision of having his gf or you. After all, it was you b-day, cant you decide the present you want even though its already been brought by someone? (just a figure of speech)

yes you should, just think if you were dating him and someone was planning the exact same thing that you are doing, and you were totally unaware. i think cheating is wrong, just think if you ever date it, once a cheater always a cheater, so i'd watch out
