blood drainage in one toe?
so on my left foot I have noticed for about 1 year that the middle toe is slightly purplish at times. all the other toes are a nice blood perfusing adequately color.
About 1 year ago I was giving myself a pedicure and started to notice that middle toe would always be really red when I got out of the shower. Its like purplish now as it usually is like its bruised or something.
Anybody know what I should do about it?
It doesnt hurt but it worries me.

It sounds like some sort of infection. You might want to see a Podiatrist.

This sounds like gangrene, which is serious. Gangrene is when an extremity like your toe starts to turn purplish or black. Its usually caused by loss of blood to that limb, which means its not getting enough blood or oxygen. You could lose your toe. I would suggest going to a doctor or podiatrist as soon as you can, if you don't go soon it could spread further which would be very bad and you could lose your toes, foot or even your leg if it got that far.
