If you use your own hosting then its actually very easy to do that.
You can install wordpress in a folder on your server and make a link for blog on your home page.
WordPress is a free open source CMS platform with which you can have your own blog like this http://www.mohitaneja.com/
You can customize the theme of your blog to match it with your werbsite.

Do a web search for php blog. The only problem is deciding which one to use.

If you have your site with a decent host, it should have tools that will let you "install" the blog which also creates the necessary database and the front-end form as well. It's really easy. I did it with my host's cPanel.

relies upon on your point of coding know-how and what you're utilising it for. in case you have 0 know-how of programming, something like MySpace, (that's often used via e-chavs and wannabe bands), or Yahoo's own Yahoo 360, (you need to use your latest login info). Failing that, a Google seek might desire to unvocer something, i in my opinion use EzBoard/Yuku, yet would not completely advise them on the 2d, even though it is amazingly ordinary to apply, and is amazingly huge.
