My Airbag Light went on in my 98 Dodge Caravan?
Yesterday My airbag light went on and now its keeps going on and off intermittently. I'm scared to death and having panic attacks that this thing is gonna blow up in my face! If there is a malfunction could any little bump or break set it off??

take it in and have it checked as there is probably a loose wire on one of the air bag sensors, I really don't think there is any danger of it going off as when that light comes on it means it's inoperational and won't deploy, if your really worried you can take it's fuse out in the fuse box until you can have it looked at.

The clockspring will cause the airbag light to come on and shut down the system. As long as that light is on, the airbags will NOT deploy, even in an accident.
This was a factory recall and many customers are unaware of that. Contact your local dealer and they will accommodate the replacement for you.
