French Grammar Question?

I made the following sentence:

Comme la fois où j'ai conduit le long de cette rue ET tu as essayé aller aussi vite que moi.

Trying to say: Like the time I drove down the street AND you tried to keep up with me.

I'm more concerned about the part of the sentence after "and"...

Any help is appreciated; thank you :)

I would put "(..) et où tu as essayé d'aller aussi vite que moi."
