Well, let's start with the good: The drummer seems to really know his stuff. Good timekeeping, good fills, a sense of possibility. The rhythm guitarist is as solid as I have heard. Production is very good (but with ProTools, what can't be?). And the lead singer has a good melodic voice that reminds me a bit of the guy from At The Drive In.

Now the bad: You can't hear the bottom end at all. The bass player can't be heard which could be a matter of production or purposeful. The lead guitar is pedestrian and the whole thing sounds a bit like a Killswitch Engage cover.

Overall I would call it a good serviceable sound that would be great in a festival tour but uninspiring to buy the album on its own merits.

Sorry if that is less than you hoped to hear, but I listened through both songs twice.

    Good Luck!
