UPS shipping and Bad Weather?

I have a package I should be getting today, however it has started raining and is dark already. Will UPS still deliver? The tracking function on the web page still says "out for delivery."

Yes, unless it is a state of emergency where noone is allowed on the road. UPS doesn't have "snow days" and the such! UPS drivers deliver till they've made a delivery attempt on every package, there is no set "quiting time". When people ask me when I get out of work I say "umm...anywhere from 5:30 to 8:00 usually". So it will probably still be delivered.

Just like the USPS ads, they deliver late at night and in bad weather too.

If you must have it, and for some reason, it doesn't make it to your house tonight, call the local distribution point, see what time they close, and go get it from them.

  • Yes , I have had them deliver as late as 9 pm
