Doctor Who, series, episode and title please!?
Here is a brief dscription of an episode of Doctor Which i seen recently. can someone tell me the title, which series it's from and the episode number?
All i can remember is that there is a girl in it who is quite charmed by a guy and they swap numbers. He never calls he because he is transported back in time so in the present day he is actually an old man, whom she meets up with again on his death bed. The same thing happens to her best friend who gets transported back to the 1920's and sends her a letter from the past saying she has had a pleasant life. i'm not sure but there may have been statues that, if they touched you caused the time travel, the statues could only move when you weren't looking at them! This is most of the key points i can remember. Hopefully someone can help!

Yes - that is "Blink" the one with the "Weeping Angels".
It was episode 10 of the last series (series 29, or new series 3)
The Girl was Sally Sparrow, played by Carey Mulligan and the guy was Billy Shipton played by Michael Obiora, Sally's best friend was Kathy Nightingale played by Lucy Gaskill.
The episode was written by Steven Moffat, who has been one of the best, if not THE best writer for Doctor Who over the past three years.

Okay, the girl's name is Sally Sparrow, the episode is Blink, series 3 episode 10. It's the one with the Weeping Angels, I was hiding under my cushion.

It was broadcast on BBC One on 9 June 2007, and is the tenth episode of Series 3 of the revived Doctor Who series. It was a single episode story, written by Steven Moffat.

That was the excellent "Blink" from last year's series with the Weeping Angels.

I'm thinking it might be another Web Planet - the Ood, like the Zarbi, are easily dominated and can be fearsome (as we have seen). Also the Doctor could rescue the Ood from an evil controller (like the last Dalek) and make them free again.
