Whats everyone problem with Kate Nash?

I think Kate Nash is completely brilliant. I love her music and for me she is a style icon. She has a great sound which is sooo different to Lily Allen if you actually listen to the songs and lyrics. People just think they sound the same because they both use their London accents in their songs. AND something that most people dont know is that Kate was actually doing this BEFORE Lily. I'm not saying that Lily is copying Kate all im saying is that it annoys me when people say she just copied Lily Allen when actually she had that sound first.

    I think she writes good lyrics, but I don't think she has much vocal talent. Same with lily allen

    I quite like some of Kate's songs, though I can see why some people don't like her. She's not exactly singing, is she? She just speaks in a sort of sing-song voice. But then again, I'd say the same about Lily Allen for some of her songs, so I'm not sure why everyone is just picking on Kate.

    i totally agree with you, i love Kate Nash and Lily Allen and they dont sound alike at all, just because of their accents, only ignorant people say that, and they both have a COMPLETELY different style. I love Kate Nash, her songs are catchy and another thing is she refuses to let her pictures be like photo shopped to make her look skinnier or prettier as she thinks it promotes a false images and plus she embraces the natural look,yay her and go you!!!:)

    She seems OK although I feel she is a bit to similar to Lily Allen. I'm not sure which one of them "came first" so to speak, it seems that there is a vogue for little "mockerney sparra" singers at the moment. I don't dislike Kate Nash at all though.

    Kate Nash is way betta. I like her songs, not a big fan of Lily Allen.

    They do sound very similar, and Lily was famous before Kate (in the mainstream), so I can understand why some people see her as a Lily clone. I, personally, don't have a problem with her.

    I love kate nash! I think her songs are so unique from other artists. I hate when people compare her to lily allan because she's nothing like her. Her songs are so catchey and i love singing along to them! =)

    I think there both cool and a great influence to the youngsters of today rather than the girls who think that marrying footballers, in and out of rehab (prison) and sleeping around just to get there faces in the paper is a good way to go. They are real women and should be proud of themselves for who they are.

    Who the hell is Kate Nash, and why is she so completely brilliant-- never heard of her. Not impressed and have better things to do.
