hurt finger in baseball?

i hurt my finger in baseball practice yesterday and its about twice as big as my other one and it hurts pretty bad if anything touches it, what should i do to make it not hurt during practice today its my middle finger should i just tape it?

    Don't practice. Go to see doctor. It's broken.

    i would ice it before practice if its that bad and yeah taping with will help too
