Yes..If you go to Resolved Questions on this section you'll find them. I'm only speaking for myself..but I'm glad ya'll are on here. This section hasn't had many questions on it...compared to others. Hope you'll stay here awhile and ask a lot of good questions. Glad you're not here to make fun of it..or of us. If you pay attention..you'll learn a lot of things you didn't know. I have! I would probably be on the skeptics side if things hadn't happen to me. I guess most people are skeptics if they WANT paranormal things to happen to them and they don't. I used to be. I don't have any doubts anymore..that there's more "out there" ...there's more to life. I just hope these things are from good sources..(good spirits).

Ah, I am from the south and I grew up being told ghost stories.
I am a moderator in a group that is involved in the paranormal. That is how much I enjoy it. I have seen a few ghost in my time, including a little ghost dog who lived in my sister's house. I am not psychic thankfully. I saw something as a child that my parents thought may have been a UFO, but who can say what it was.
I think that Parapsychology is fascinating, and far less respected than it should be. There are nut jobs in any Field though, and especially in this one.

a jinn experience actually back in my old house.. i was sleeping on the floor in the living room.. (don't ask why?) but we have an arch that connects the kitchen to the living room. I am sleeping and suddenly i wake up and it seems like my grandpa all dressed up ready to go to mosque is standing there, yet it's like night. Definetely not my gramps.. i pulled teh covers over my head and started praying.. i dare not lift the covers up i was so scared. Next morning i ask my gramps if he was there he says no. Then i said it on the breakfast table and i was scared that people would say that i was lying. Actually my mom and my aunt mention they have seen the same jinn standing right by the arch at night. But half of my family still lives there.. we figured since the jinn was dressed in a prayer outfit and has not done any harm.. it's a good jinn and we are not afraid of it anymore.. but yeah this was all back in India i was about 10 or 11 but boy i will never forget that! This was a life changing experience because ever since i am very interested in the paranormal EDIT: people who don't believe or make fun of ppl who have seen it.. not everyone can see it.. i think you have to be open minded about them to actually see them. i have also sensed that a mansion was haunted after a year later i researched and found out that it was haunted. They will only make them selves seen to people who want to actually see them.

Sometimes I do.
Nope, I never have that is why I sometimes doubt the existence of ghosts.
Never seen a ghost or a UFO, or at least I don't think I have.
I think that this type of science needs to be researched more by scientists, because Parapsychology could prove facts that we never knew about life.

Hmm. Well I don't really tend to believe in supernatural or paranormal stuff, but I had two experiences about eight years ago that I can't help but wonder about.
I don't think my parents' house is haunted, at least not anymore, because nothing unusual has happened there since the event I'm about to tell you about. But it scared the crap out of me....
I was standing in the dining room of my house one night around 2am, talking on the phone with my best friend, and I looked through the dining room, through the living room, out the living room window on the front of the house that overlooked the front porch. A young man, probably in his early to mid twenties with disheveled brown hair and dirty work clothes on was standing up against the window, peering into the house. He did not move, speak, or change his facial expression. I don't know how long he stood there because I freaked out and ran into my bedroom and stayed there all night.
A few weeks later I was upstairs in the office, which was one of two rooms that were in what used to be the attic, and the door to the other room upstairs was shut. Suddenly the doorknob started rattling violently like someone was trying to get out of there, as if the door was locked (but it wasn't). Before I really thought about what I was doing, I opened the door. In the corner of the room closest to the window, the same brown-haired young man I had seen previously was now standing with his back to me, facing the corner, completely motionless. His plain white T-shirt was either dirt or blood-streaked and so were his jeans. He looked exactly the same as he did the time before that and again he did not move, make noise, or acknowledge me at all. I shut the door and did not go back in that room for almost a year.

I've had things I can't explain, but I've never gone as far to say they are paranormal. My brain tells me no, that ghosts aren't real, however, I know that there is always the possibility.
When it come to parapsychology, I think some of it is very real and serious and scientific; others, not much more than a scam fest. It depends a lot on the particular people involved.

Yes -- I've seen a light in the sky a time or two I couldn't identify, but there wasn't any reason to think it was an alien spaceship.
Parapsychology as a science is extremely weak, compared to all other sciences. It is sorely in need of reproducible evidence, but irreproducibility appears to be the hallmark of parapsychology. More tellingly, there is no theoretical framework and no mechanisms to guide this fledgling science. Nobody can advance a testable mechanistic theory based on our present scientific knowledge as to how telekinesis works, assuming that it exists. To say this is a huge weakness is an understatement. I think it is more accurate to categorize parapsychology as a pseudoscience until these weaknesses are shored up.

Yeap heard foot steps in my garage, and many times going up and down the stairs and when i go up there is nothing around. never seen anything like a UFO.
The science of parapsychology is the least known science because the people who mad it does not know a dam thing about it. nobody does we all just about have either lived around ghost or at least heard people talking about seeing or hearing them. they only way to ever really understand them is if it was possible to talk to them which cant be done.

Yes, a few.
Yes, as the human experience of seeing an apparition.
Yes.
Never seen a UFO.
I think parapsychology (and all other fields of science) a worthwhile study in order to attempt to increase our understanding and knowledge of the universe in particular the understanding of human experiences and experimental findings that do not fit within any conventional theories of science.

Yes, I believe in ghosts and spirits.
I don't think I've ever seen one ~ but there have been times when I have sensed 'something' around me.
I have been interested in subjects including parapsychology since I was about 9. I think it is a subject well worth studying... but I wouldn't necessarily call it a 'science'.
I'm more interested in specific psychic areas, such as psychometry, clairvoyance, etc.
