Weekend in NYC?

Hello fellow New Yorkers...

Is there anything special happening this weekend? I've got my sister coming into town and I was sniffing around for something new/different to do. (she's seen all the sites, tons of broadway shows, musuems where I'm a member and doesn't like to shop)

    Every Friday or Weekends, Urban Park Rangers offers various activity of rock climbing, canoeing, hiking. camping at various park in New York.

    They also host movie night at various park.

    They're FREE.

    You may also step out to Westchester County by taking Hudson Line of MTA Metro-North along scenic route along Hudson River.

    Have you been to museums in upstate NY or Connecticut. If you and her didn't, 1-day Gateway package offered by MTA Metro-North give you great deal including admission to museums she never been too around the Westchester and Connecticut premise!!

    Have you been on sightseeing tour bus offered by Big Taxi Tour which only cost $25 per person or New York Water Taxi which has 1-Day Hop On/Off which is $20 while 2-Days are $25.

    go to timeout ny website and look and see what's happening this week and weekend.

    also new york magazine. maybe village voice for concert and club listings. the village voice you can pick up for free at most street corners downtown. new york magazine you can browse for free, or buy it at a bookstore. same with timeout ny magazine.
