    Norelco Blade Replacement

  • 1 decade ago

You're right about the blade replacement. I actually got a reconditioned Norelco for $7 cheaper than the replacement blades.

Now I buy a microscreen Remington at Walgreen's for $20. The last one lasted almost 2 years. It's kind of a disposable electric razor at that cost and that longevity.

Before you go to the expense of replacing the screens try cleaning them- they may only be filled with body oils or soap scum. Remove the blades/screens and soak in rubbing alcohol for 20 minutes. Then use a blow dryer or canned air to dry them. if they don't work any better you are dtuck buying a new one.

You will need a small brush to clean shaver and heads, also a flat piece of glass ( a mirror or picture frame glass will do).

Oooo Bad idea you will just wreck it unless you had a very precision tool. Just go out and buy a new blade.

I don't think so, as you would have to get into those little blades.
