my band teacher is humilating me in class because i keep on messing up i don't know what i should do?

It happened to me when I was in HS during art class. The teacher had the entire class laughing at me because of a mistake I made in one of my paintings.

There was no reason for him to hold up my painting in front of the class and have everyone look at it. He could have told me what was wrong with it without involving the class.

To this day I wish I went to the school Principal and told him about it, so go ahead and do that. Tell the Principle about your dyslexia and how this teacher is showing no respect for you.

I agree. Talk to your teacher and let him know that you find his comments really embarrassing. Let him know that you have dyslexia and ask him if he knows of any tips to help you learn the song more easily.

If he gives you any trouble, have your parents go to the principal.

My son is also dyslexic, and I've had to do this with some of his instructors. Not all teachers are informed on what dyslexia is and how to teach to this learning style; a band teacher, while he is probably extremely knowledgeable about his subject, may not have had a reason (or an opportunity) to learn about dyslexia and how to work with it.

talk to your teacher and tell them that it is because you have dyslexia and that you don't appreciate it at all and if it doesn't stop you are going to have to tell the office of him/her and take a witness to make it serious!!!!! Trust me, I am a teacher, what they are doing is WRONG!!!!!
