I strongly disagree. There are MANY video games used for education.
My child was in public school and the only way schools teach is to sit down and read and write.
My child has learning problems and can not learn this way.
But, instead of the school helping her they said she was careless, lazy, not trying, etc.
Using these excuses to get out of helping her.
WHen I started homeschooling her, she has improved GREATLY!
Now she can learn in the way that is easiest for her.
The company called 'jumpstart' has wonderful educational video games.
There are many great video games for education.
