Open up an Ebay business?

I know a lot of ebay businesses are direct with the manufacturer. That means that the seller does'nt see or ship the item. The order goes straight to the manufacturer and ships from there. All the seller really does is manage the ebay listings, and market the items. Does anyone have any good advice as to where and how to get involved with this type of ebay business? I want to start one on the side, but I don't want to carry an inventory or handle all of the shipping. Thanks!!

Ebay is a website that provides a central place (online) to buyers and sellers to come across. Sellers post the details of their products and buyers bid to win the products for their desired price. Sellers are responsible for shipping the products. Ebay is not involved in shipping and manual inventories. The website is equipped with automated inventory system that records every transaction and communication in the database. When a buyer purchases a product through Paypal (its an Ebay enterprise), ebay receives the payment from buyer and releases payment to seller only when buyer confirms the receipt of the product. Sellers and buyers are expected to follow the protocol set by Ebay. Yet, sometimes sellers are able to act smart and play with the loop holes that Ebay learns only after having experienced the frauds.

I believe, its a good business, if you can stand the challenges of legal responsibilities and risks.
