There are many reasons why it could be shutting off. Here are 3:

    1. Overheating. If you are working on an application (like photoshop) that uses a large amount of resources, and you don't have enough ventilation, the computer will automatically switch off to prevent damage to the parts in the computer

    2. Hardware driver error. Do you see a quick flash of some blue screen before it shuts off? Check with the manufacturer of the computer and see if there are any hardware updates to install... Its quite possible other people have had the same problem.

    3. Virus. One way you can tell if it is a virus is if it is consistent. (TIMED). Is it always doing it 20 minutes after restarting? Or any other time? Reload your computer software with the manufacture system restore kit.

i think of that it would be overheating, attempt to vac out the vents and examine that the fan is working ok, additionally examine which you have some air circulate, while you're applying it on a delicate floor then attempt it on a demanding one as that is going to breath somewhat much less complicated. If it seems to be getting extremely heat this may be your undertaking, they have a thermal overload to guard the factors in case of fan injury down or being bunged with airborne dirt and dirt.
