What is your opinion on Oprah Winfrey?

i would say shes a good person cuz all the good stuff she does but she def knows how to milk every dime while doing it...so in the end,you really gotta ask ur self is ,if someone is trying to make as much money as they can (making mags,channels,signing on ppl she thinks can maker her more like dr.phil, and all the other "O" stuff she has) while "helping" someone is really trying to help them or is it for the money..

if you go in to this report thinking shes a goddess then all youll see if the good things but not realize shes prob benefiting it her self...

shes a good entertainer i guess ,but women should not hang off every word she says

Vis-a-vis Black History month, I think Oprah Winfrey is a credit to her race and her gender. She started out in television when women hardly ever got a chance to show what they could do. She was not your typical fluff female,to say the least. She showed her immense acting ability in The Color Purple and I still think she should have gotten at least a nomination for best supporting actress for the incredible job she did. She knocked Phil Donohue out of the park when it came to talk shows and left herself vulnerable to her viewers time and again. At this point, Oprah cannot be compared to anyone because there is no one else remotely like her. I've had my misgivings about her in the past few years, but, I know she doesnt need my permission to do anything. More power to her.

She annoys the crap out of me. I haven't watched her show more than a dozen times over the years.

I did TIVO it when Suze Orman was on a few months ago but didn't learn anything new so kind of a waste of time.

I think the MOST annoying thing about Miss Winfrey is her self promotion and it's most evident with her magazine. The ultimate shrine to one's own self; putting your picture on a magazine cover EVERY MONTH.

I think she's racist.

I think she does a lot of good for people but she waves her good deeds like flags so people know what she did. I suppose she does things for people because it makes her look better & feel better.

I have been quietly giving to the poor for many years and no one knows. I'm so cool with that it's not even funny. Shhhhhh!

I think she has some very good topics

like the Ghana guy who rode his bike with one leg Emmunial

And the boy going blind and the Paralympic athlete who was blind with the same condishion.

There are many other amazing people that she had on her show some with disability some able body.

And building the schools in South Africa was great too.

I think she balance her show real issue with make overs for room or people.

I may not like all her show every day but I do find a lot of her show interesting.

I love Oprah. To be successful, rich AND down to earth is amazing!

I don't care if she's black or not. She's just one of the many who get rich through the exploitation of others.

i think of she could pick to take the credit for influencing distinctive people to vote for Obama, yet frankly i think of it became into McCain's snub on Letterman that did the trick for the Prez...

she is self serving-even though she does alot for others-it's to make herself look good, she is a complete narcissist and I am so sick of seeing her photoshopped mug on the cover of her magazine.....i also think she is somewhat of a racist...

i do,nt care for her.i,m sure she does a lot of good things but what gets me is she is stuck on herself. any time she does something good for someone we always have to hear about it.she just goes on and on about all she does.its always about her.
