Recall that if you have an expression the form (a + b)/c you can also write it as a/c + b/c. Can you use this information to rewrite the second F(x)?

If the rewritten equation is the form F(x) = g(x) + h(x), how do g(x) and h(x) relate to F(x) = 1/x. Note: if either of the new equations is of degree 0, that is a constant (a * x^0 = a), what effect does that have on the transformation. Think about y = mx + b as a sum of two equations. What happens to the line as you change b?
