    Vertical asymptotes, in this case, is what makes the denominator = to zero.

    x-2=0

    x=2

    So you have a VA at x = 2. (x can't be 2 because that would make the equation undefined)

    Horizontal Asymptotes.

    When the exponent (x^2) in the numerator is higher than the

    exponent (x^1) in the denominator, there is no HA.
