Is there anyone else out there that has to take Gleevec?
If so, how many mg. do you take a day? How much do you weigh? What are your side effects? Do you also have CML? I would appreciate any answers, sometimes you feel so alone...

I dont know the details, but my great aunt has cml and takes gleevec. I dont know her dosage, but she weighs roughly around 180 (I would guess roughly a size 16). Again I dont know details but I do know she has some side effects. I unfortunatly cant tell you exactly what they are though.

I am aml and thogh I have no expereince with gleevec, I do have leukemia experience. Feel free to contact me if you want there is a link on my profile. I dont know of how much help I can be specifically, but I do know what its like to need someone else to talk to who 'gets' it.

You should look on the lymphoma/leukemia society website. I'm sure there's lots of info on support groups. Good luck :)
