I love it, but I would like "Jameson" better than "Jamison".

Jameson Edward is an EXCELLENT name. I really like it.

Jamison seems more feminine with the letter I instead of E. Just a suggestion.

It's cute, but just to let you know don't count on calling him Jamie. My mom named my brother James, because she loved the nickname Jamie and he hated it and never her let call him that.

I do! In fact, I wonder if I was helping you hone your list a week ago? Are you getting closer to your baby's name?

    All the best to you!

Source(s): PS: Another answerer said that Jamison sounded feminine. I can't understand...James is a mans name. 'son' implies masculinity. I wonder if the fact that so many people are currently naming girls 'Madison' and 'Addison' plays a part in her thinking that it sounds feminine. Perhaps it was the whole name she referred to. She was not clear. But she's got me thinking...Edgar Linton's character in Wuthering Heights was portrayed as a weak and soft individual, from a world of of pampered, comfort and wealth. Still, I think Jamison Edward is every bit as masculine and strong-sounding as Harrison Ford ;)

No, It kind of sounds femine. I'd go with something a bit more masculine. Like Samuel,
