why do we let these fascist questions?

I hear your dissapointment to questions like the one you mentioned that appear in this section from time to time for various reasons......whatever those reasons may be ;)

But I dissagree as to why we let those questions appear here for 2 reasons:

First Greece is a free country and anyone can ask whatever he wants ( check with our northern neighbors who frequent here and tend to insult us in our home)

Second, is the perfect time to confirm our friendship and positive feelings we have as people and neighbors with each other.

Even IF our governments fail us in the peace keeping efforts, we Greeks and Turks reach to each other for friendship and support as human beings and good neighbors now and ever

Obama should never tamper into business the way he did. They were not mismanaging money by handing out bonuses. The CEO was only taking $1.00 pay and trying to get the unions to negotiate. Obama was doing saber rattling and it may prove to be the worst mistake he has made so far.

I totally agree with you, all propaganda and nationalism should be banned, we have enough of these problems happening for real right here on the island and we're trying to deal with them the best we can. Reading questions that provoke hostility that goes beyond, I'm not sure I can tolerate this either.

I have absolutely no problems with Turks or Turkish-Cypriots, in fact the best people that I met in my life were of Turkish origin so I think people should just stop creating friction on this forum. History is history and that's where it belongs, we have to write our own don't we.

One of these years it is my fervent hope, that old animosities will die and the new generation young people will be rid of stereotypes and cliches that do no one any good.

Can you imagine what the Aegean basin could develop into if there was true cooperation between the neighbors?

Neither Turkey nor Greece are going to move elsewhere. As neighbors they ought to help one another, as I help my next door neighbors and they help me when I need something.

Positive cooperation yields better results than infantile antagonisms that get us nowhere fast.

As I've pointed out in the original question, I completely agree with you Eras. The bonds between our nations need to be strengthened, we are neighbors after all! I felt deeply ashamed when I saw the answers some Greeks had posted in that "poll" saying "Greece"... And those Americans trolling around and thumbing people down, are provably brainwashed by their government, which is a perfect example of tyranny, as it uses its power to invade and cause troubles to other nations.

So while I DON'T think we should report those questions, however irrelevant might they be to this section, we shouldn't let them cause hatred amongst Greeks and Turk.

this tell it to yr politicians not to us...i will talk for myself...i havent problem with u people but with yr politicians and yr army... the1st side order and the 2ed have to listen and act...like us....but cz of yr politicians and their mind u are not in European Community and u wont get in if they dont change mind and way that they r thinking & acting...our politicians arent better, same sh!ts they r but at least we show a lower profile than yrs

I am already getting so tired of them that I will probably do what many others in this section already do - just stop bothering with these types of questions. Hopefully, a lack of responses to these moronic questions will eventually drive their askers away...

(I am against censoring such questions, though, because I do believe in freedom of speech - in my opinion, if they need to be posed, that should be done in a forum other that the TRAVEL sections of Yahoo! Answers. This section should only be for posing TRAVEL-related questions)

I agree with you eras, I hope that one day we will be able to put past behind us and move forward.
