Attn Lawyers: Question? re: Disability and Wills?

If someone wanted to will you a house but you're on disability..how would that effect your benefits/monthly income? (Government office has already been called. No help on their end to answer my question).Figures!! LOL

I was told by someone that they would end up taking your house in the end.....eek!

    I'm no lawyer Cat,but I might know the answer. Disability is for a medical condition.It's not like welfare. If you inherit a house,your SSI shouldn't change.

    Now if you were on welfare,they would want you to sell the house and they would quit the monthly payments.
