How do I uninstall a program which I can not find in my computer ?
I'm trying to download the new version of "SlingPlayer" and can not because it says I have to uninstall the old version first.
I,ve tried just about everything, including going to the tech-support of slingplayer, which I'm usually cut off from.
I went to the "control panel" under 'Install / Remove programs, and can't find it there.
I went to the "start" menu - "programs" file and found it, but doesn't give me the option to uninstall.
Please give me more suggestions.
I'm lost.

If you go to start > all programs > right click the program name you should see an uninstall option. Or a ReadMe file which usually gives uninstall info. If not, try an advanced file search.
Click start > search > all files and folders. Enter the program name and Look In: C: Drive. Under more advanced options make sure to check mark the first 3 items (search hidden files/folders, etc.) Run the search and delete any files/folders that appear in the right side panel by highlighting the folder and using the delete button.
