No, they just asked him to be a part of the video game and to be in it. If you have Guitar Hero 3 you can earn enough on the game to buy the making of Slash the making of Guitar Hero and also the making of Tom Morello on Guitar Hero.

No, he did not. They just use him in the game/ commercial etc. to make good money b/c he is famous. He did not make the game.
