I'm going on a Western Caribbean Cruise and need advice?

I'm sailing on the Carnival Glory to Cozumel, Belize, Roatan and Freeport, Bahamas and have been looking at the shore excursions booked through the cruise line. Have any of you taken this cruise or a similar one and can tell me the best things to do with two kids 10 and 11--especially in belize and freeport. Thanks in advance

The most fun shore excursions are actually the trips to the beach - especially with kids. They tend to be more open and less structured. I would also highly recommend that you don't go into Cozumel with the kids - it's so chaotic and busy and not fun. Take one of the more structured shore excursions in this case, like horseback riding.

A snorkel excursion in Belize and Freeport would be a wonderful experience. Also look into the zip line canopy tours over the rain forest in Belize. The kids would love it. You zip through the trees in a harness. It's very safe but a big thrill for all.
