I'm 29 and had most of the excessive sweating symptoms you list, I used to sweat like crazy almost all of the time and in all the wrong places. I just couldn't stand it anymore! I feel so lucky I have found this website:

Hyperhidrosis is a medical condition in which a person sweats excessively and unpredictably. People with hyperhidrosis may sweat even when the temperature is cool or when they are at rest. Sweating helps the body stay cool. In most cases, it is perfectly natural. People sweat more in warm temperatures, when they exercise, or in response to situations that make them nervous, angry, embarrassed, or afraid.
Excessive sweating occurs without such triggers. https://tr.im/EliminateExcessiveSweating Persons with hyperhidrosis appear to have overactive sweat glands. The uncontrollable sweating can lead to significant discomfort, both physical and emotional. When excessive sweating affects the hands, feet, and armpits, it is called primary or focal hyperhidrosis. In most cases, no cause can be found. It seems to run in families.
If the sweating occurs as a result of another medical condition, it is called secondary hyperhidrosis. The sweating may be all over the body or it may be in one area.

No mystery here. How did the news that you sweat when a high fever breaks miss you? You sweated when your fever broke. When you no longer needed the fever and your thermostat recovered you sweated buckets to lose the fever. Then you felt much better - because you got over the flu! Or essentially got over it. Influenza A often has a high fever stage followed by cold symptoms, with a degree or less of fever.

What a relief! I haven't been sweating as much as I did for more than 3 months now. I have thrown all my antiperspirants straight into the trash. Who would have thought it was so simple to eliminate excessive sweating, all without prescription medications...https://tr.im/TreatmentExcessiveSweating

That's because you were running a high temperature, and your fever has broken. That's a good sign that you're on the road to recovery.
