You pay the $1.25 at the first on ramp, and you have $5.50 left. Every 4 miles it costs you 0.50 cents. That means on the 11th toll both, you are out of money, and you have gone 11 x 4, 44 miles. Add the first 4 miles to the total, 48 miles. You will have to get off before the next toll booth, so 48 miles plus whatever it is to the next exit before the booth.
