Your last name is Spanish: from mancilla ‘mole’, ‘birthmark’ or ‘blot’, ‘stain’ (Latin manucella), hence a nickname for someone with a blemish on their skin or their character. At one time about 200 years ago, it was common for spanish people to have a blemish on their skin.

My last name is Folk. Variant of German Volk or the English cognate Foulks. My dad is from Pennsylvania. Folks are found in Ohio, New York, Illinoise, and South Carolina.

My mom's last name is Flores, which is spanish for Flowers.

    Morris:

(origin: Welsh.) from Mawr and rys, a hero, a warrior, a brave man. Marth, the great, the warlike, same as Mavors.

  • the term used for an archaic army sub-unit (back in the day of swords and spears lol). i think it was also used for a low-ranking officer incharge of a team of five.
