Where can i find the figure for market capitalisation for a company,?

Sorry if the question is a bit vague, what i mean to say is, will yahoo finance give the figures for an individual company's market cap. or if so how would i be able to calculate it.

any help would be much appreciated.

is the market cap the full value of the company, and is there hsitorical data available?

    Yahoo shows it. Just enter the ticker symbol. Its in the right column, right next to the chart.

    Market cap is usually given on places like yahoo finance. It is the number of shares in issue x mkt price. There is usually a figure for the no. of shares in issue so to find historic mkt cap just get historic price and calculate. It is the value of a company according to the market
