Anyone dealing with woman that have built the "Great Wall of China" because they have been damaged?

I understand that everyone has been hurt some how, some way in relationships "gone bad", but it seems to me that men have an easier way of "cutting it loose" and/or play it off better

I believe most women are more in touch with their emotions therefore more apt to leave their hearts open to heart break... we tend to "feel" things a bit deeper. So when whe are hurt... sometimes.. we break... not permanently though. We just become for protective of our hearts for a while... Men.. they seem to like to jump right in dating again... and that doesn't always include love.. I have also known many men who can build that wall higher than any Wall of China I've ever seen. Sex comes easy for these men...whereas women's emotions are deeply tied in with our bodies... making it hard to separate love and sex.

Then again I have known some women who can become hard and cold when it comes to love but seem to have no problem with having sex with whoever.

That would not be me... I love deeply and with everything I've got!

Am I making any sense? It's 3 am ... I should really be in bed.

  • I think it is more fair to say more women/girls have been hurt in their childhood so build the walls.

As far as wo/men who build walls because they have been cheated on, I think men feel they have to deal with it in other ways as it is not socially accepted for them to publicly show difficulties with their emotions

I'm not dealing with it but my current boyfriend is and i know i give him one hell of a ride.

But i would say men definitely don't dwell on the past as much as women do.
