Can anybody figure out Yahoo Answers rules?

I keep getting violation notices even though I am really trying to abide by there rules. It almost seems like all it takes for me to get a violation is someone to report me, I don't think anybody is reviewing the complaints. I have noticed that I am not answering questions like I used to because I fear more violation notices. Has Yahoo's unclear standards caused any of you to cut back on participating on the answers forum.

I got violated for selling a car; but what I don't understand is in the category Cars and transportation there is a buy and selling list ; so my question to yahoo is okay why is that list there? If you can't sell autos so then what are you selling? Yahoo never did give me a answer and neither did the one who reported me ; Cause I asked him the same question through his e-mail So I have to agree with you

its either an automatic bot program that searches out certain words or Yahoo has given some of the Users power and its corrupted them as power usually does to weak minded people

Do you believe that your Q or A was wrongfully removed?

Others were just too serious on reporting violations so someone had provably reported you.

To check weather it is a violation or not, check the links below or check the Community guidelines here:

Other people (trolls) persistently misuse product features such as the report abuse and ratings system to negatively target others.

If you believed you were victimized by trolls:

You can appeal your question or answer removal by clicking on the appeal link in your email if you believe that your question or answer was wrongfully reported by the community. The link will take you to a page where you can send an appeal to have your case reviewed. Please only appeal if you feel that your question or answer was wrongfully reported.

    http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/answers...

If your appeal is approved, then all the users who wrongfully reported your question or answer will have less influence when reporting violations in the future.

It seems that a lot of people that report others are just other answerers.

If you feel they are unjustified i would appeal against them, you might have a troll after you, (you do get them on here from time to time!) and my sugestion would be to hide your Q&A from public view, just makes it a little harder to get at you, also i would think about changing your nickname.

I agree with you totally, One way to help avoid the REPORTER is to make your Q/A private.

Their rules are ridiculi ( that's the plural of ridiculous)
