I used Wordperfect 12 to type a report and added pictures and it looks GORGEOUS! Now I want to take it via?

a floppy or CD to a place where I can print it out. But I don't know how. Everytime I try, the pictures disappear on the copy and the type face changes. Any suggestions? I want to transfer it to paper exactly as it is on my computer monitor. Thanks!

I just googled to see what export features are available in WordPerfect. It says, anyway, that WordPerfect can open and edit and save .PDF (Acrobat files). See if you have Export As... or Save As... and the .pdf is the best way to preserve your fonts and pictures.

You have to experiment with .PDF options. You DO want to embed your font. You DO want to embed your photos / art.

Now, if you are going to an inkjet printout, the file type of your pictures is not so terribly important. If you are going to a high-end typesetting output bureau, then you need to take the time to open each picture in a photo program and Save As... .tiff file format.

If you discover you need to purchase and upgrade or plug-in (key word purchase, not download), then you should look at a free Office Suite called OpenOffice. OpenOffice will save out as PDF format. With OpenOffice you would save your WordPerfect file into a format that OO will / can use.

make sure pictures are in jpg or tiff format, save the document as a pdf, e-mail it to kinkos!
