who is crankier: old ladies or old men?

It's a toss up. Some elderly are sweet as all get out and others are just plain bitter and grumpy. I try to speculate as to why? Kids dumped them, or constipated, maybe in constant pain? I always wonder. Makes me sad. I don't want to be like that.

Equal. I got cranky married old neighbors right next door and two doors down. Can't have a bonfire without them calling the cops.

Its almost a tie but it goes to old ladies. A lot of them turn into nosy old battleaxes. I know some old guys who are really cranky too.
