I Just Won A Lottery! Will My Money Buy Happiness?

I totally agree with Gunther - money is merely a tool used to enhance life. Total absence of money is misery, but too much money is also misery if you dont have contentment and support.

All my friends and I have very little money but we have each other and we are all (largely) happy despite the little crises we have as we go through life. My rich friends have all the materialistic advantages but nothing ever satisfies them, it takes a lot more to make them happy and they dont seem to appreciate the little things the way my friends and I do.

No your money won't buy happiness but it can pay for things that will help you achieve happiness. You'll be a lot happier if you no longer have to worry about paying the gas or electric bill, or where rent is coming from or food. However, more people being around you because of what you can do for them, more alcohol, or just buying anything on a whim just because you can isn't true happiness.

Yes money will be able to buy u a lot of comforts and luxuries, but not happiness. U can find happiness if u give away the money to the needy and the poor, u can experience the happiness of giving.

the 1st difficulty i might do is hire a criminal expert :) yet my first purchase could be a advantageous ocean or lake view domicile....it is so nicely worth that $a million lottery card in basic terms for the 5 min. of day dreaming!

the money you won will definely make your life more comfortable, but if your not happy on the inside then all the money in the world will not do anything, remember ebeneezer scrooge?

I saw some guys drop $200 on pull-tabs at the bar the other night. not even booze helped them feel better after that...
