There's a Days Inn in Hicksville, with rates around $95.00/night (depending on when you're staying).

The hotels in Hauppage will likely be more expensive, as they are higher-end hotels (Sheraton, Marriott, Hyatt, etc.), although the Sheraton and Hyatt claim to have rates starting at $109.00/night. You can do an area-wide quote here:
