No sync cd...?

I bought a Sprint {Audiovox} ppc 6700 but the sync cd isn't with it. Does anyone know where I can download what I am going to need for my phone? I do have Windows Vista. The phone has ActiveSync 4 and Windows Mobile 5.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me!

Windows Vista doesn't use active sync. Look in your Vista programs for mobile device manager that is what Vista uses to connect to your smart phone instead of Active Sync. Just launch (on your Vista PC) Mobile device Manager and follow the instructions and your set. Windows mobile 5 is the same thing my Motorola Q uses and it should sync fine with the Mobile Device Manager in Vista, Active Sync is no longer used, use of active sync ends with Windows XP.

To clarify, your phone will still use Active Sync but the program you need to launch on the Vista PC is Mobile Device Manager. You will need to use Mobile Device Manager even if you want to sync via blue-tooth (if your PC has blue-tooth).

You can find all the information you need on Windows Mobile 5 using Vista and XP as well as Active Sync and Mobile Device Manager at this link, as well as any downloads you may need. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/Browse.aspx?dis...
