My cell phone is completely dead. It won't power up.?
When I plug in the charger the phone gets hot but nothing shows on the screen. Is it just a battery issue? I go to ATT shops and they just wan't to sell me a new phone. Its a scam.

its likely the battery but a new phone might be cheaper than trying to replace the battery. Cell phone modles change out soi frequently that its hard to keep up.How old is the cell phone? if its more than two years old then just get a new phone

sounds like your battery is dead. after many charges the battery life gets shorter and shorter in nickel batteries and lithium ones. you need a new battery if your phone is just fine.

uhh well theres just somthing wron with the phone the onlything you can do is get the recept and ask for a refund! :)
