A friend of mine thinks someone she knows is AWOL, how can she find out and what should she do if he is?
A friend of mine thinks someone she knows is AWOL. She doesn't want to turn him in or be involved, but she wants to know the truth before she confronts him. Is there some way she can find out without having to give her name? Like a list somewhere?

She would have to contact the nearest military base and they will have access to the names. If she's trying to turn them in, she'd have to contact the base where he's from or the first base would make the connections. they might need numbers of contact and all the info

Nothing. Trust me, the military knows if this person is AWOL and will handle it on their own. Trust me. She has nothing to worry about.
