If the Halo 3 and Halo 2 Melee systems aren't perfect, what about the Halo 1 Melee System?

nothing was wrong with the melee in Halo 1: combat evolved.

Halo 2 was okay.

Halo 3 they messed up but just recently released an update that reworks the melee system. I'll explain.

Before, 2 people would be running at each other and shooting. they would both beat down, and the kill would go to the person with the most health at the time of beat-down. Now, 2 people are running, and they both are still shooting at each other and are both relatively low on health, and they both melee simultaneously. The kill goes to the fastest to press the button rather than the one with most health.

I personally think the old Halo 3 system was better, but i assume that within time i will adjust to this one.

P.s. one tip: always keep your sensitivity at at least 5, it allows you to spin a lot faster, therefore getting more kills.

I guess that question could be answered if there was a Xbox Live enabled game mode for Halo 1.

There was no Xbox Live for Halo: CE, so not as many whining about it!

h2 worked fine imo, they just screwed it up in h3.. h1's was fine too

and yeah theres no xbl for halo1, but we always played lan party style with acouple tvs and eveything.. and yeah, there was nutting wrong with it.
