Addicted to Yahoo Answers? 10pts best answer?
I just recently found out about Yahoo Answers because some of the questions I typed in to google, gave me answers from here. I made a profile...and am answering (and asking) away.
I think the point system is great! Even though there are no "material" benefits like a gift card when you get to a certain stage, the point system is addicting!
The other day I was trying to answer questions and I reached my limit for the day. That was really frustrating! Now I am always on here, seeing if I got "best answer" for anything, I love those 10 points!
So fellow Yahoo Answers members, whoever comes up with the best answer to why they love yahoo answers, why they are addicted and etc, will receive 10 POINTS FOR BEST ANSWER.
EVERYONE ELSE will receive 1 point as a THUMBS UP!
GET CREATIVE!

MIN7ION--what? why do people report when you have a lot of points?
plus cheating here is no fun because you technically don't get any "real" benefits from answering or CHEATING here.

OMG that is totally me lol! I love it when at the side it say 'You have gained 10 points' or whatever. Call me sad but I take pride in that haha
Yeah I hate it when that happens...when your 'over the limit'! It happened to me yesterday and is about to happen to me in a minute - I got quite fustrated yesterday...tried signing on and off to see if it would help...but nope.
ok here goes...I LOVE yahoo answers because...it helps me get the answers to all the meaningless, stupid questions that my friends would never bother answering. It gets rid of boredom. It enriches your own personal knowledge by reading other people's questions and answers. It helps you understand other people's lives and situations so you can sympathize with them (and be thankful that you're not them). It allows me to help and answer other people's questions but MOST OF ALL...it gives me points so I can move up a level LOL. I just need 20 more points and im LEVEL 2! Can you believe it hahaha...how sad I know!
ok a question to you now..do you always answer every question with full honesty - or are you just always in it to get the points lol?

I'm addicted to Yahoo Answers because I learn something new every day and it makes me think. Everyone has at least one subject or area they know a lot about, and Yahoo Answers gives the expert inside each of us a chance to spread that knowledge around!

OMG i totally feel the same way... When I first came upon yahoo answers i was on a roll till they stopped me cause I had reached my level... grrr..
I will tell you i have my days when I don't have much of an imagination to answer questions but there is some days where I could answer all day and love to fill my brain with information from what other people have to ask!

I try to answer some questions on the 2008 race. But I like learning new things from yahoo answers.

Points are cool, but since you can't do anything with them does it really matter? I do get some excitement from getting a "best answer" but I find I get a great deal of satisfaction from just being help to someone, or making their day a little brighter. And I can't wait to see what L.T. comes up with next!!!

i would say that i am semi-addicted to yahoo answers. i get on it when i wake up and whenever i'm bored. it really does help me learn some things, and occasionally makes me laugh.
once i saw a question on here like "why does my poop taste different than normal today? it tastes kind of bitter" and i was cracking up. it's a good way to get quick answers and fun to see feed-back on the answers that you give other people. i mean, if you think about it... it's brilliant. think of a question that you would want to ask random people & see what they answer. that just gets you thinking... haha =]

i love having the satisfaction of maybe helping someone.. whether it just be song lyrics or a relationship problem or help with pets or the very very few video game questions, i know that i am helping someone. besides, it's fun to see what kind of questions and things people are wondering about =)
plus it's nice to know that i have somewhere to go where i can ask anything and have people respond

No...See that U R @ level 2......Points are nice.....But You will have allot of people that will start reporting U with the more points U get and try to get your account cancelled.....
Almost made it to 9000 before and really started getting reported....This is my 2nd time already...Don't get me wrong I love Y/A,,,,but if just one person and I mean 1 person disagrees with you,,,could get reported for it......Just gets old after awhile.....
Some people will report just to gain more points....Sometimes it works and sometimes it dosen't.....You need to fight the reports back,,, I win about 90% of the time.....
Not sure why they do it....Just mean I guess......Then I offend some people aswell,,,don't mean to......See....I speak my mind and tell you how it is....Some people just can't deal with that,,,,and report me....
Would be nice if you could cash in on the points....
