Why do people act like they dont care about........?

I really couldn't tell you why someone would do that, If you love someone, you should be confident in your relationship to decalare your love at any given time.

Not all people are like that.

I know plenty of people who care about their relationships.

Concerning the people that act like they dont care, they might not. Some people just get in relationships to have the title of being a girlfriend/boyfriend but couldnt care less about whats going on in the relationship. I know people like that.

Some people also act like they dont care, when in truth they do because they arent as happy and figure that things will eventually die out.

eh, usually commitment issues they have.

they dont know whether or not they are safe within the relationship. they dont want to get hurt. Its better to play it safe for some people rather than put yourself out there and show that you dont care, so if the relationship ends, they dont see you hurt and they arent as hurt.

Its complex and stupid, but thats how some people think

Because by not caring, they have more power in the relationship! When you care you give the other person the power to deny you and that hurts!

well.. listen sweetie. when someone acts like they dont care but they really do its called PUPPY love. when a person REALLY loves another person no matter what they will always be on they're side and never attack them. I was attacted every single day of my life by my ex-girlfriend, I never even yelled at her. she has puppy love. BE CAFRFULL, i dont want you're heart broken

Two reasons: 1) they dont' wanna get hurt 2) they don't want to show their hand...they think of expressing their true feelings as a sign of weakness. In other words, they want to keep their "mystique" and keep the other person guessing which ultimately makes them try harder.

Because caring is a sign of weakness!

So is Kindness !

Hey, don’t get me wrong I like these traits but others see these traits as a weakness.

What makes you think they really care? Maybe their not acting.

Cuz they are afraid to admit it… n they see it as a weakness to show how much they really care…

Maybe they are guarded and are trying not to get hurt. Or maybe they really don't care.
