    From Daniel Lawrence Whitney aka "larry the cable guy"..daniel is his real name

    Larry the Cable Guy uses catchphrase humor, including "Git-R-Done", as well as "Lord, I apologize for that right there, and please be with the starvin' pygmies down there in New Guinea, A-men" and/or "I don't care who you are, that's funny right there!" after particularly egregious jokes.

    I bet it predates Larry the Cable guy. I worked at a custom woodworking shop in the late 1970s and my boss had a "GIT-R-DUN" bumper sticker on his 240Z. He was an ex-SeaBee (Construction Battalion) so maybe the term can be traced to WW2.

    larry frased this line but i bet if you think about it mom and dad at least once as you grew up has said this to you , i know mine did when the bedroom looked like crap you got 5 minuets to clean up this mess, GET ER DONE
