Outlook Express 6 is the latest and last version of Microsoft's small mail client for XP, and will not be upgraded. There already is a new version that comes along with Vista. It is called "Windows mail" and works very much like OE. But if you're looking for a newer mail client for XP you'll have to use one of the web based mail clients, such as Yahoo Mail, or In Box, etc.

There will be no new versions of Outlook Express. Windows Vista shipped with Windows Mail. Outlook Express will still get security updates as long as Windows XP is supported by Microsoft.

it became into purely outlook,its now outlook exhibit so that's been as much as date,its purely a software for sending & receiving emails. in case you opt to objective smthing else try thunderbird. regards.
