Is it typical to have bloody discharge from your nipple after a breast biopsy?

Update:

The biopsy was done under my arm near the lymph nodes with a needle.

Update 2:

Also, this started yesterday, and I had the biopsy done on Monday.

I'd think it would depend upon how close to the nipple the biopsy was. Far off to one side or the other, I wouldn't think it would be expected...but was this a needle biopsy or an excisional biopsy? If it was excisional, perhaps?

no! please get it checked out right away. that is not good at all. it could be cancer. i do not mean to scare you but i know that is a symptom of breast cancer.
