If A Turtle Has No shell Is It Naked? Or Homeless?

I'm not sure but I think it would be dead.

If a turtle has no shell then it wouldnt be homeless or naked it would be dead. In cartoons however it is naked. You know when the turtles shell comes off and he covers the area between his legs? He is all exposed.

i don't think a turtle can survive without its shell. however, it technically IS naked already, it doesn't wear clothes, and it wouldn't be homeless either because a shell is a protection, not a home. so I guess... dead?

It is homeless. I think the turtle has skin in side the shell, but out side the body right?. So, there's still clothes on it. (Eww, must be aweful to see a removed skin turtle)

LOL, ignoring dead (the obvious answer) I would say niether. The shell is not its home, its part of it's body. Its like asking if our skin is our home. And naked, no. A shell does not play the purpose that clothing does.

Turtles shells are not like snail shells they are part of the body. you not remove it or the turtle will die. its like our fingernails. imagine your whole body was a nail instead of skin and imagine when you stub your toe and part of the nail chips off well imagine your whole body being ripped off. i think you would die too.

Homeless I think.

It would be mutilated and dead or dying, with part of it's spine carved off :(
